Training at FC Utrecht
Starting Tuesday, former Moroccan international Nourdine Amrabat is participating in training sessions with FC Utrecht. The 30-year-old midfielder, who has played for clubs including Al Nassr and Watford, has decided to maintain his physical condition and match readiness during the current period.
Amrabat stated that he wants to utilize the club's high-quality infrastructure. According to him, FC Utrecht's facilities and professional environment offer the ideal conditions to stay fit while simultaneously maintaining his close connection with the Dutch football world.
“I want to keep my fitness up and make use of the excellent facilities at Utrecht, a club where I have previously played in the Eredivisie.”
The player also emphasizes that the initiative stems from a personal desire to prepare for potential future opportunities, both at club and international levels. The cooperation is currently informal, and there is no talk of a contract or transfer yet.
Previous Dutch Experience
Amrabat previously played in the Dutch Eredivisie, notably for FC Groningen, where he made a strong impression with his dynamic play and defensive commitment. This experience makes the transition to Utrecht's training environment seamless.
