Moroccan winger Couhaib Driouech has officially made the switch from PSV to Celta Vigo. The transfer to the Spanish club comes after a previously planned move to Rangers fell through.
Celta Vigo has officially confirmed the arrival of Couhaib Driouech. The 22-year-old Moroccan leaves PSV for the Spanish side, signing a contract until mid-2030.
Under the agreed terms, PSV will receive a transfer fee of 7 million euros for the forward. This brings an end to his two-season spell in Eindhoven.
From Excelsior to PSV
Driouech moved from Excelsior to PSV in the summer of 2024. In Eindhoven, the winger continued his development and was part of a successful period for the club.
With PSV, Driouech captured two league titles and the Johan Cruijff Schaal. Meanwhile, his progress did not go unnoticed abroad.
Rangers Transfer Collapses
Rangers previously appeared set to be Driouech's next destination earlier this summer. However, the move to Scotland ultimately fell through.
Celta Vigo acted quickly and reached an agreement with PSV. For Driouech, this transfer marks his first adventure abroad since leaving the Netherlands.
